Claims

As your broker, we will assist you in reporting accidents to your insurer. As your broker, we will assist you in reporting accidents to your insurer. We will hold your hand through the entire process. We will help you ensure that the proper forms are completed and advise you as to what you can expect next. One of the most valuable things you can do is provide pictures and/or video supporting the details of the accident. Pearland also staffs a fully dedicated claims department that is actively involved in processing and collecting third party property damage claims both for our clients and the general public. We do charge a nominal fee for this service but you will never be charged until you are satisfied with the settlement and we collect your money from the other insurance carrier. What to do in the event of an Accident

Report A Claim

1. If anyone is injured, immediately render any possible first aid assistance and call emergency services.
2. Report the accident to the nearest police station and file any necessary reports.
3. Cooperate fully with the police, but do not make any admissions about your liability. Do not sign any statements for anyone other than an authorized representative of your insurance company.
4. Exchange names, addresses, and insurance information with the driver of the other vehicle.
5. Record the following information;
  - Date, Time & Place of the accident
  - Name & address of the owner of the other vehicle/s, if different from the driver
  - Drivers License Number of the other driver/s
  - Names, addresses & phone numbers of all passengers & witnesses
  - License Plate Numbers with State of the other vehicle/s and witnesses’ vehicle/s

Please report all accidents promptly by visiting your closest Pearland Office with your Drivers License, TLC License, Registration, Rate Card (if applicable), police report (if available) and complete information about the accident.

NOTE: Please print the “Accident Information Form” below and keep it in your glove compartment at all times. It will allow you to provide the particulars of any accident. You can also print “MV-104” from below and fill it out as much as possible, if you wish, before coming to our office to report any accident.

Third Party Liability Claims Service

In addition to providing accident reporting service to our clients, Our dedicated claims department is actively involved in processing and collecting third party property damage claims for our clients and general public for a very nominal fee. Please note that we do not charge any fee until we collect your money from the other insurance carrier.

Please bring in the following to your closest Pearland Office if you would like to experience our state of the art Claims Processing and Collection services;

Drivers License
Insurance & Registration Cards
Police Report (if applicable) & MV-104
Pictures of the accident & damage to your vehicle
An itemized estimate (if the vehicle has not yet repaired)
An itemized bill with PAID RECEIPT (if the vehicle has already been repaired)
Proof of your income (if you plan to claim for loss of income due to unavialability of Commercial/For Hire Vehicle)
